Foster Delivery Science Hires Robert Diehl To Lead Quality and Regulatory Affairs

PUTNAM, CT, USA – (January 11, 2016) – Foster Delivery Science, a company that specializes in hot melt extrusion, a solubilization strategy to enhance bioavailability of poorly water soluble drugs, has recently hired Robert Diehl as Director of Quality and Regulatory Compliance.  Mr. Diehl has over 30 years of experience in product development and quality control in the pharmaceutical industry.

Mr. Diehl has previously held senior quality and analytical positions at Patheon Pharmaceuticals, Watson Laboratories, Astra USA, and Fujisawa USA (presently Allergan, Inc.). Mr. Diehl holds Masters’ degrees in business and science from Illinois Benedictine College and the University of Illinois, respectively; and a Bachelors’ degree from Indiana University Northwest.

The addition of Mr. Diehl to lead Foster Delivery Science’s quality and analytical team follows the company’s completion of a world-class contract pharmaceutical development and GMP manufacturing facility. “Bob will oversee all our analytical operations in support of contract development projects and GMP manufacturing,” said Tony Listro, Vice President of Foster Delivery Science. “Bob will also be our primary interface with the FDA and other regulatory agencies.”
