Implants and Drug Delivery
Foster Corporation specializes in melt extrusion blending and forming of highly regulated materials, including implantable polymers and bioresorbable drug delivery polymers used in combination devices and pharmaceuticals. We offer formulation, feasibility, process development, scale up and manufacturing services in an ISO Class 8 cGMP clean room environment.
Foster Compounds
For over twenty years Foster Corporation has been serving medical device manufacturers with industry leading technology and service in custom biomedical polymer compounding. Within two ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008 certified facilities, Foster offers expert formulation development and production of biomedical polymer enhancements including: radiopaque fillers, colors and blends, and other specialty additives.
Polymer Distribution
Foster Corporation is the exclusive North American sales and distribution partner for Arkema in the medical device market providing Pebax® MED Block Co-polyamides and Rilsan® MED 11 and 12 polyamides. Engineers are available to assist with material selection and can help formulate custom compounds based on your specific application.
